Welcome to Carbon Offset Aggregation Cooperative (COAC)!

The purpose of COAC is to provide a Fuel Efficiency and Carbon Reduction Initiative for owners of heavy diesel burning equipment and long/short haul trucks to reduce operating costs, and by doing so, create, aggregate and transfer, trade or sell carbon offsets.

COAC has developed a, first-of-its-kind in the world, methodology for converting diesel saving into verified carbon offsets, which can then be transferred, traded or sold.

Next to labour, fuel is one of the most significant costs a company must incur.  Increasing fuel efficiency and minimizing fuel consumption not only improves a company's economic outlook but coincides with the global social need for industries and governments to reduce their carbon footprint and to lessen environmental impact.

COAC can assist in overcoming the technological, administrative and financial barriers necessary to make carbon and fuel reduction changes within your organization.

COAC firmly believes that our Carbon Cooperative Fuel Reduction Program will be of great assistance in this endeavour!

The Carbon Cooperative Fuel Reduction Program

  • Ability to reduce diesel consumption
  • Ability to create, aggregate and transfer, trade or sell carbon offsets
  • Ability to achieve success with minimal human capital

COAC will:

  • Perform all historic baseline calculations
  • Implement system timelines
  • Recommend equipment complement
  • Perform all installations
  • Provide financing for equipment installations
  • Provide operator awareness sessions
  • Offer awareness techniques used from behind the controls of the unit
  • Provide analytical services to members and/or suggest improvements
  • Administer all data reporting and administration for carbon offset trading
  • Research ongoing fuel reduction initiatives for potential implementation
  • Provide a data tracking system, that will not only record and report fuel reductions, but will have the ability to report operational information and behaviour simulations for business and operational decision making
